SAG'S MULTI! We support Austria's largest multilingual speech competition.
For the fourth consecutive year, HS Timber Group is supporting the ORF speech competition SAG'S MULTI - Austria's largest multilingual speech contest.
In 2026, SAG'S MULTI toured all ORF regional studios as well as South Tyrol. In the so-called Speech Offs, ten finalists aged 15 to 19 were selected to compete in the grand finale, The Final 9+, held in the ballroom of Vienna City Hall on April 17, 2026.
The finalists delivered their speeches in a total of eight languages - Arabic, German, English, Italian, Latin, Punjabi, Spanish and Hungarian - offering the jury and audience moving insights into their life stories, experiences and perspectives.
After a joint dinner with the finalists, Jürgen Bergner, CEO of HS Timber Group, expressed his admiration for the participants' strong personalities and inspiring stories: "SAG'S MULTI demonstrates how valuable multilingualism is for young people and for society as a whole. The competition promotes linguistic diversity, dialogue and mutual under-tanding –-values that are also central to our company as we continue to grow internationally. That is why we proudly support this initiative as a contribution to sustainable development and to an open, connected world."
