Currently, there is an increasing number of fake pellet offers and new approaches to potential buyers by an individual and/or company who use unauthorised data from existing companies.
Therefore, please check offers carefully to avoid purchases from fraudulent sellers:
1. Carefully check the e-mail addresses, website and contact details from which the offer is sent to you;
2. Carefully check the branding details of the product you want to purchase;
3. Validate the UID/VAT number of the company sending you the offer at https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/#/vat-validation
4. Do not make advance payments to unknown suppliers;
5. Always check the bank accounts/invoices that are sent to you;
6. Contact directly by telephone the sales team from whom you want to purchase;
7. Look for contacts from sources other than those in the fraudulent e-mail. Very important to check whether or not the e-mail domain corresponds to the official one of the company;
8. If you have any doubts about an offer you received, the sales team of HS Timber products is at your disposal for further clarifications: https://hs.at/en/products/contact-information.html
Reminder: We simplified our brand recognition to HS Timber for all products. Find out more: https://hs.at/en/press/blog/detail/we-are-hs-timber-new-logo-for-packaging-and-promotion.html
