TRAINING, PRACTISING,
AND REPORTING

COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT

At HS Timber Group, we operate a cutting-edge compliance management system, centrally managed by our Group Compliance Office in Vienna: We conduct annual compliance risk assessments to develop a targeted program that increases awareness of compliance risks among management and employees. Our comprehensive training program includes both personal and online sessions with e-learning modules and equips our staff to handle risky situations effectively and with confidence.

Our compliance management focuses primarily on anti-corruption, antitrust, fraud prevention, and ESG-related risks. Integrating the compliance risk assessment with our internal control environment ensures the system's effectiveness. Regular compliance audits help us verify the effective implementation of our measures. Additionally, we continuously seek to enhance our systems through consultations with external experts.

We also offer a confidential reporting line managed by the Group Compliance Office in Vienna, where all reports are thoroughly investigated, sometimes with external support.

At HS Timber Group, we deeply value integrity, making it a core part of everything we do. We are committed to creating a culture where clear values and effective management guide us to always act honestly and responsibly.

Reporting Concerns or Wrongdoings

If you suspect or perceive a wrongdoing of our management, employees or business partners, do not hesitate to report it. We follow up on every hint. Reports are made under strict confidentiality principles, and our Code of Conduct prohibits any retaliation against the person who is reporting. We value the opportunity to start a conversation with you, as such dialogue helps us learn from possible mistakes and will make any investigation more focused.
