HS Timber Group is part of the Evergreen Private Foundation which has been established in 1997 with charitable objectives. The foundation and its subsidiaries focus on research and development, education (particularly in wood-related fields), and other philanthropic causes. We have fruitful collaborations with many of our partners, supporting their causes for several years. 

For instance, we are a longstanding supporter of Lobby 16 – an Austria-based organisation advocating for young refugees to have access to education and employment. Moreover, we are in a strategic partnership with Fundatia Padurea de Maine, a Romanian Foundation implementing re- and afforestation activities in the country. In the field of research, we are currently substantially supporting and co-financing a five-year research programme of the Technical University of Vienna, TUW, aiming at the development of a wood-based, 3D printable biocomposite material.
