Donation for elderly home in Rădăuți and hospital in Siret

Schweighofer Fiber, the city of Hallein, the Red Cross organization and the transport company Schenker started a joint action and sent two trucks full with equipment to Suceava County. Amongst those were 55 nursing beds and 92 nursing sideboards from the elderly home in Hallein, complete kitchen furniture and work equipment from Schweighofer and support devices for mobility from the Red Cross. The transport was carried out pro-bono by Schenker.

The goods were donated to the hospital in Siret, near Schweighofer factory as well as to the new home for the elderly in Radauti, which is being built with the support of Holzindustrie Schweighofer.

For Gerald Schweighofer it has always been a personal concern to support where help is needed, with special focus on the surroundings of Schweighofer factories.
