Help for orphans in Romania

After the heating system broke down in the orphanage in Saniob  - a small village near Oradea in the west of Romania - in winter, Holzindustrie Schweighofer contributed to the installation of a new and modern pellets heating system.

The abbot of the monastery in Melk (in Austria), who has been engaging very much for the social center in Saniob in the past years, met Gerald Schweighofer to personally thank him for many years of supporting the project in Saniob.

At their meeting Gerald Schweighofer promised to keep on supporting and assured the delivery of three truckloads of pellets for the coming winter. The social center will also receive a truckload of Schweighofer blockboards for the production of furniture.
