The first Romanian investment by the Schweighofer Group, the Holzindustrie Schweighofer sawmill in Sebes, opend its doors once again to the media.
Journalists from several publications in Cluj and Alba counties made a research trip for gathering first-hand information about the company's efforts to increase transparency and sustainability in the Romanian wood industry, including the GPS-based monitoring system, Timflow.
Besides our openness and availability for dialogue, the journalists were much impressed by our community involvement, through projects such as Tomorrow's Forest and the Schweighofer Scholarships for university students in forestry and wood engineering.
