Our colleagues from the Holzindustrie Schweighofer sawmill in Reci took part yesterday in a planting action – fruit trees along the generous parking lot of the unit.
The shelterbelt is a request from the authorization documents, and its creation was a refreshing opportunity after the working hours on Tuesday, October 30th. On a total length of about 270 m, 60 apple trees of several local varieties were planted. In three to four years we’ll all enjoy the flowers and tree crowns, as well as fresh fruit.
