We are – together with academic institutions, scientific organizations and other partners – developing pioneering technologies that will take the wood and forest industry to a new level. In a strategic project, we initiated the development of an RFID-based tracking system for trees. In the future, every log should be uniquely identified by a chip. The relevant information on growth site, certification status and chain-of-custody would be accessible at an open-to-public third-party database.
