Between October 18-21, Holzindustrie Schweighofer Baco had its own stand at the SICAM International Exhibition of Components, Accessories, and Semi-Finished Products for the Furniture Industry held in Pordenone (Italy).
“It was our best exhibit so far, we had hundreds of visitors from all continents and we established important contacts. The products from Comanesti are highly valued by furniture designers and producers, mostly from the Mediterranean countries”, said Bogdan Ababei, sales director for HS Baco.
Now, in its 8th edition, SICAM is the largest event of its kind in the second half of the year. This edition exhibited 560 companies from over 90 countries and almost 7,000 visitors were registered, of which 40% were international visitors.
Member of the Schweighofer Group, Holzindustrie Schweighofer Baco from Comanesti (Bacau county) is the largest blockboard factory operating in a single location in the entire world. The factory produces blockboards and concrete formwork panels for furniture and constructions industry.
